Harnessing the Power of Partnership for Rural Energy Access

Solar Health Uganda works in collaboration with multiple local and international organizations in the implementation of renewable energy programs.

Our primary partner and sponsor is Let There Be Light International, which funds most of our projects.

We also convene the Shine On Network, a coalition of organizations that work on clean energy projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. Members of this network are Combined Effort to Save Uganda, Defeating Darkness Community Initiative, Kisoro Elders Project, Elseed Art Foundation, Compassionate Mission in Malawi, NPO TER in Rwanda, and Pacemaker in Kenya.

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations that share our mission of improving the lives of individuals throughout Africa. One such partner is the Global Partners Studio(GPS), an initiative of the University Buffalo Experiential Learning Network, which consists of over 40 nonprofits operating on the continent. Global Partners Studio is a space for those working in the non-profit and NGO fields. There are specialized groups around fundraising, training, and project development.

In addition to these collaborations, we work closely with district health ministries to implement programs at off-grid healthcare centers.

Finally, we partner with grassroots community-based organizations as part of our MODES and Light 4 Literacy projects. These partnerships are integral to our ability to effect meaningful change in remote and marginalized communities across the region.
